2011-12 Upward Basketball & Cheerleading Important Dates

Location of Games and Practices

December 3 or 6 Coach Meeting

We need over 200 coaches. Fill out a form and help us out. This meeting is very important. We will collect background check information and the training information will help you to be a great coach at every level.

By December 9 Contacted by Coach

Coaches will contact parents to introduce themselves, give team name, and let them know practice times and locations. Communication will happen through emails.

January 2 First Week of Practice

Participants will practice for 1 hour each week through the week of March 5.

Week of January 16-19 (During Practice) Picture Day

Pictures of teams and individual pictures will be taken. You do not have to purchase pictures but you can if you like. More information will follow.

January 21 First Game day

Game schedules will be handed out at practice in January. They will also be posted on the website. Have your children at the game at least 15 minutes early.

March 10 Last Game Day

This will conclude a great season. New relationships will be built and your child’s faith will be stronger.

March 13 Ending Awards Night

This is a highlight of the year. We really do get done in a timely manner. Those who attend will enjoy a special gift, great entertainment, and awesome give-away prizes (some parents will also be recipients of give-aways). A lot of effort is put into this event to make it a time to remember.
